Today in cisco we took the modeule 2 exam, we finished up our lab on wednesday and studied for our modeule 2 exam, other than that, class hasn't been that exciting and we haven't really done much, i'm just ready to be done!

Hello good people, how the heck are ya? Ya, me not doin so bad. I'd like to tall ya a little about cisco class this week. We only had class tuesday and thursday because of it being a blue week, but not much you can do about that. Tuesday, I don't recall what we did in class, im just going to be honest, i kno we got our quarter grades and read Genisis, but after that i dont remember. Thursday we had Mrs. Fitz, we started on modeule 2, reading over it and looking at it, then we had a study hall after we were finished. More to come later.

The Cisco Class

Hello evryone, Cisco has been going well recently, we haven't done much work on the laptops because they were being used by other classes, so we got a chance to take a little bit of a break from that and watch the string theory which is very interesting, hard to understand, but nonetheless, very interesting. We continued to read in the book of Genesis, we are up to chapter 19 now and we look forward to continue readibng that and hopefully finish it before the year.

Last week in Cisco we read Genesis chapters 13 and 14 to start class. It was a short week so we only had 2 days of class. On Thursday we took our first look at Cisco 2, which is exciting, it doesn't look too difficult from the beginning but neither did the first one and it was, but we got through it so that's how it works. I'm looking forward to learning more about computer networking and seeing how it all comes together! I'll write more later...

Once Again

Whats goin on everyone, not too much here, just chillin, not too much goin on here. Cisco been going pretty well for the most part, i was only in class one day this week because of community service for the league, some athletic thing i guess. But ya, in cisco Rev K gave us worksheets to do on modeule niner, they were ok i guess, we didnt finish them but he said he would give us about half the time on tuesday to do them, so hopefully we can finish them then. Of course we continued with our reading of Genesis, we read chapter 6 which is about God telling Noah to build the ark because He was going to flood the earth. Then we got a chance to ak questions about the passage, to which the subject came up, why Noah, why was God so specific in the dimensions, why did God tell him to take only his family? Things like that and we mau never know until we get to Heaven so we can ask God in person about these things. O well. Time for me to go get some sleep, yall have a great week and ill talk more later!

See Eye Es See Oh

Hello kids, how are you folks? I'm doing splendid, just chillin in the yearbook classroom because my mother is on a boat somewhere down in the country of Mexico. Rev. K is our substitute teacher, and is doing a marvelous job. But, I will admit that he is a better Cisco teacher than he is a yearbook teacher. Today we did a lab, it was very intriguing. We used the router and a hub and hooked it to a computer through a rollover cable, we took turns reading what we needed to do to make it sucessfull. It was alot of fun, it was different for a change rather than getting the laptops out and studying the ciriculum, not that that is a bad thing, it was just different for a change. We aslos continued to read the book of Genesis, I believe it was chapter 12, as a matter of fact it was. It was interesting and I'm glad we get to read this book in a Christian atmosphere. Well, its about time to go, ill update more later, have a great weekend everyone!!

Whats going on yall, this week in cisco has been ok i guess, slow, we have only had two days, which isnt necessarily bad. Wednesday in clas we listend to Bill Gates, and the Cisco man. There were parts that were interesting, but im going to be honest ans say that some parts were boring as well. Today Rev. K was not there due to illness to him or maybe his daughter. We worked on subnet masking worksheets, for the most part they were easy, except for the last couple we didnt understand, but its all good. But hey its time to go. Ill talk to you guys later!

Exam is done

This cisco exam is over! Half of my exams are over! That is exciting, but i still have half of my exams left. These are the last exams i will have to take for the rest of high school. Cisco exam was hard! I tried to reason out some of the answers i thought were bogus, but i didnt do very well at that im guessing, but o well. Well, i have the rest of the day before me....that's exciting! Go home and sleep, or go to my girlfriends house and sleep either one, sounds good to me! 1 exam tomorrow and go home at 10, thats exciting, no basketball practice for 3 days is amazing! Well, the first modeules are over and now we start cisco 2, which is going to be just as much fun as cisco 1, but harder, which is well ya. alright, time for me to go!

Review Week

Well, Cisco this week was pretty good, we got along well like always. We mostly reviewed this week...well thats all we did, but you know it was a good time learning aboout the different things we have done throughout the semester. We also took the practice final, and that was a task, it was rela hard but hopefully we learned from our mistakes and will do well on the final. Lets just say our final won't be the easiest thing in the world, but probably not the hardest either. Cisco is pretty much ya know it or ya don't, it does however require some thought, but hey it happens. Well, thats pretty much all we did Cisco wise this week. We have been readin a chapter from Genesis every day so i think thats cool, some people have already read it, but it never hurts to read it more than once...time for me to go study some of our histroy of the United States of America and our Government, so ill cya later. Children Playing London Bridge

There is a picture with 6 children playing the game London Bridge, and Rev. K has asked us to blog about it and tell how we think the picture has to do with networking and such. If you look closely at the picture, it looks to me like all the kids are holding hands, therfore connecting each one of them to everyone else through another person, computers are kinda the same way. They may be connected to each other through a switch or a router, but not directly to another computer. They may also be connected to each other through computer computer. Some of the kids are the same size, but others are bigger or smaller, computers are the same way, a computer may be bigger or smaller than a switch or a router, or another computer. With all the kids holding hands, if one of them falls down, they all fall down. The same way with computers, if they are all hooked together through say a switch and the switch goes down, all the computers will then go down as well. Just looking at this picture won't really tell you anything but if you stare at it for a couple minutes and think about it, i think you can compare the two very well, but thats just my opinion. Hey whats up, not too much here just challin challin. We've been working on Modeule 6 the past couple of weeks in class, and today we decided it would be a good time to take the test, so we did, that went well, didnt ace it like i would have liked to, but none the less did very well, several others indeed get the three digit grade, so that was a good sign. Were movin on to modeule 7...maybe, were taking a modeule 6/modeule 7 test, and if we do well on that then we dont have to do modeule 7, but o well its whatever my man. However, on this test were allowed to use a partner, so that could be very helpful! So, that's just how it goes. other than that not too much goin on here in the cisco classroom, just a bunch of learning and fellowship goin on, sounds good to me! Welp, time for me to do whatever it is that i do, i'll talk to you folks later, have a nice rest of the day and a brilliant week!

Life in General

What's goin on everyone? Not too much here, it's been a while since i've written about some personal things, most of its been cisco and that's ok. I've been real busy recently with basketball, school, college things, and all sorts of stuff. Basketball is going pretty well for the most part, were 1-1 currently, our next game is tuesday so hopefuly then we'll make it 2-1! I took my ACT's today for the second time, you can take them as many times as you want, so might as well to try and get higher scores, thats my theory anyway, but those went ok i guess, i was fortunate enough to get them close to home at colerain so i knew alot of people there which was good. After ACT's i had basketball practice which was ok, then went to the girls game. They won, that was about the only good thing that happened, it was an emotional night for the entire girls team and many others. Kirst went down on her knee again, and this one isn't looking too good, so please pray for her it would be greatly appreciated! Other than that, things have been going pretty well i guess, Holidays are coming up, thats a good thing. My sis is comin home soon im not exactly sure when but im pretty excited about that! It's always good to see one of the closest people to me, she's pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to me!! Well, that's about it for now, just wanted to take a little time and up date ya on what's goin on with me, hope everyone has a great rest of the day and may God be with you throughout this Holiday season!! Wow, whats goin on everyone, Cisco class has been excellent recently, we have been currently working on the 6th modeule of the cirriculum. It has been very interesting to say the least. We took the exam for startes just to practice and se exaclty what we need to focus in on and learn more about then we got to expierence making straight through cables. It sounds boring and easy, but not at all my friend, it was actually alot of fun, but at the same time very frusterating because its hard to line the wires up in the right order then put the little plasctic end on it, but none the less it was still alot of fun! Tomorrow were supposed to take the real modeule 6 exam for an actual grade, that should be interesting, but i think im ready for it, hopefully ill ace this one, that would be good, but thats really all i got to say about cisco!
This weekend, well all i have to say is North Carolina beat Kentucky and if that doesnt bring a smile to your face nothign will!!! On the other hand on the gridiron "THE CINCINNATI BENGALS" took care of the steelers in pittsburgh! thats all there is to be said! im out

Well, it's been a little bit since i have blogged about the cisco class, we haven't really done much because of the thanksgiving break and only having one class last week. The thursday before we reviewed modeule 5 and then took the test, it went very well, i ended up getting a 97, but should have gotten 100. But thanks to billy getting 100 we got a party. Rev. K promised if anyone got 100 on an exam we would have a party, so we did, it was alot of fun we got coffee donuts puppy chow chese meat stuff like that, it was a good time. Today we are lookin over modeule 6 bc Rev K is at home with his daughter. Time for me to go.

Well Cisco class is getting better i would have to say. Today was our first day in the class this week and i believe it was a sucessful day. Rev. K decided to give us mostly the whole bell to study modeule 5 rather than to teach it, he let us study in the way that we were comfortable with, which was cool i thought. He also let us take the modeule 5 test today more as a pre test so we know what points to really hit when we study which is a very useful tool in my opinion. The modeule is about the different kinds of cabling and how they work and what they look like, i think this is the most interesting modeule we have talked about so far. Were supposed to take the real test the second part of the bell on Thursday, which is good because it will be fresh on our minds and i think as a class we will be ready for it which is good! Amazing

One word comes to my mind when i think of the mission trip and that is amazing! God is truly unique in his own manner! Doors opened that I would have never of thought to open, doors that have been locked for a long time, doors that are impossible to open opened thanks to the wonderful grace of God! God opened his gates and let another into his kingdom on the trip. An amazing man of God; Matt Fleenor's grandfather passed away on this trip. Matt didn't get down and feel sorry for himself, but rather he held his head up high and said hes witht he Lord now, he witnessed to me in a different way and I love him for that, but he was very close to his grandfather, so if you could keep the entire Fleenor family in your prayers, I was lucky enough to have him in my group so I got a chance to lay hands on him and pray for him as a group! It was a good expierence. God also worked through my boy Adam Radomski's life on this trip!! Since the day Mr. Bashford asked if there was anyone in particular we wanted in our group for this trip, God laid Adam on my heart and I had no idea why for any reason, so i just let it go until Sunday night when the Holy Spirit was movin and movin strong in our service! I got to talk to Mr. Marshall about it, he told me to go and talk with him. I thought to myself no way!!! no way am i going to talk to him about this hes too good of a friend and no way! So i decided to but wanted some verses to help me out, so i start reading the Bible and couldnt find anyhting so i prayed and said God help me i need verses to do this in some way help me, it wasnt before i was done prayoin when i felt a hand rub my back. It was Tracy Pitts with a piece of paper giving me verses to read, and it was none other than exactly what i needed to read to Adam. So i took Adam to a room where it was just him, me and God, and i told him some things he told me some things and we just let God do the rest through my words, i prayed with him and was about to give him a hug when Adam told me to sit back down and he prayed himself and asked God to forgive him and give him a clean slate. I sat back in my seat and all i could do was cry and thank God for what he had done. That was ythe hardest thing i have ever do in my life, tell my best friend that he was doing wrong and that he needed to turn his life around, but it all worked out for the good, God gave me wisdom of what to say and Adam is closer to God. God is literally amazing!! Thanks to all the chaperones who went on the trip, they were definitly more of friends than chaperones i would say!! Doc, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Rice, Mr. Bashford, thanks i appreciate it!! I had an awesome time on the trip and im glad God moved like her did but now that we made a difference in Memphis, let us make a difference in our home town of cincinnati!! I am blessed to have the people around me like i do! Well, i believe it's time for me to be out! Continue to Praise God in every chance that you get and if you get the chance, read Isiah 41:10, and Reveation 22:12,13! Root on the bengals and stay close to God!

Well, the past week in Cisco we didn't do a whole lot due to schedule restrictions, but when we did have class, we took the modeule 4 test, which was well ok, it was better than the others i would say. We also attempted to link 2 x-boxes together through a router with a straigth through cable, to another x-box. We got them hooked up and we were ready to play, but didn't have another game so we couldn't. Rev. K said he was going to work on getting a crossover cable so we could hook the x-boxes right to one another without using a router. So i am loking forward to that. Time for me to get back to class and see what i can learn today, i will update later on the mission trip and say how that went and what God did, but for right now, im out!

Here We come

Sitting at home wednesday night, the night before we leave for the mission trip, I should be packing, but clothes are still in the washer. All i have to say is HERE WE COME! Whether the city of memphis is ready or not were coming!! I beleive God has something in store something big for us we may not know what it is but its something!! I cant hardly sit still because im so excited for this trip, its senior year, it may be the last one i ever go on like this so im going in open and ready to see what God has in store! Doc, Mr. marshall, and mr Rice are going wiht us so that should be fun and interesting at the same time! Keep Rev. K in your prayers as he is in seattle sharing his faith and his relationship with Christ to unbelievers. Hopefully he can expand the kingdom and make the war we are fighting larger than it is already, but at the same time, thats what we are going to do down in memphis, make the war we are fighting as christians larger. I'm ready to leave now!! the only thing between me and this trip is a full day of school and alot of packin, other than that im ready!! So remember us in your prayers as we go and spread the gospel!

Where to start, well this week was a very sucessful week in the cisco class, we continued to go over modeule 4 which is very interesting, but at the same time ver confusing much like the other modeules we have done. I feel like i am getting the hang of it for the most part, but we will see when i take the test, hopefully i do well on it. henry and billy already took it, they both said that it wasn't that bad, so hopefully they are right. Rev K gave us a surprise on thursday, he seemed to be in a pretty good mood, but isnt he always, so that was fun. I really like this class, I may not be the best student in it and understand everything, but it is alot of fun and im glad im in it. this week should be fun, we'll take the test Monday and get started on modeule 5 before we leave for the mission trip. Well, time is running out time for me to go!
Falcons were off this week fyi.
My longhorns are still undefeated and will remain undefeated throughout the season.

Mission Trip

9 more long and treaturous days until we get to go down to inner city Memphis, Tenessee and do what God has in store for us! I have never ben more excited about anything like this in a really long time. I ma at a point right now with my relationship with Christ where I need to go on this trip. I have been through a rough past couple of weeks, through friends, injuries and not being able to play in my last league game as a senior, and several other things. I don't know if it is God trying to send me some kind of message or if it is satan pulling and pulling on me and I'm heading in that direction, or maybe it's both I don't know. I have never needed God more in my life than I do in the time of right now! I have huge decisions to make coming up, where am i going to go to school, am I going to play football, baseball, or neither, what am I going to do with my life after college, what do I major in? I can not make these deciosions by myself. I believe that God will open the doors for me in the path that He wants me to go. I am really looking for guidance and direction on this trip. I am a group leader as I was last year, I really like my group and am glad that I have been put in a position where I can share what I know about God, but more importantly learn from the younger kids about what I may not know. I don't necessarily look at myself as a leader of the group but one who makes sure every one is accounted for and one who Mr. Bashford gives papers to. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we all leaders? Don't we learn from everyone in our group not just from one individual, so in a sense we are all leaders, to lead each other in the right direction and to hold each other accountable. I am really looking forward to this trip, God placed the people that He wanted to go on this trip, we all will serve a purpose for one reason or another. I am excited to see what God is going to do in my life but not only that but in the lives of the people who I am around and spend my time with every day! I am open to whatever it may be, and hopefully others will have the same feeling.
Be open in what God is wanting in your life don't shut Him out!

Cisco Class

It has been a little bit since i have blogged. Cisco class is still well... Cisco. It is getting harder, but at the same time it is also getting more interesting. I really am glad that i got into the class and am doing well in it. It's a new quarter, so that means a fresh start. We finished module 3 and now are working on the modeule 4. We mostly learned about the Modeule 3 by group presentations and worksheets. I was in the copper group, learning about all the different kinds of cables including straight through, rollover, and crossover. We also learned what they connect and how. I missed fridays class because i was down at NKU for a forensics trip. Were going to pick back up on Modeule 4 with Doc Savage, b/c Rev. K is taking a cisco class away from the school. It should be an interesting but a fun class, Doc is a good guy and also a very intellegent man, he always has a different outlook on things, but always knows what he is talking about. I'm looking forward to a positive and fun 2nd quarter.
Falcons are now 5-2 Mike Vick is back and healthy, got a bye week this week to rest and heal a little bit and will be bck again next week! Bengals took a nasty loss to the steelers this week, but that's alright, it hurt bad, but were still in first, and all i have to say is im sorry if your a packer fan!

High School Football

The Friday night lights, the roar of the crowd, the cool air with the smell of hot chocolate running through your nose, the sound of the pads hittng, does it get any beter than this? The stadium packed as two rival high schools battle on the gridiron sends a feeling through you that is undescrible unless you're there. I have expierenced both sides, being on the field playing in this atmosphere and also watching a good hard fought game in this atmosphere. The satisfaction of playing is good enough, there is no pay, there are no gifts, all you get is aches, pains, and the glory of playing a sport that you love. Some may take for grantide playing on friday nights, but in some cases not all have the oppurtunity to play. I thank God every day for giving me the ability to play the game of football, but most of all i thank Him for keeping me safe while I am playing. Ya, I haves aches and pains in places, but I'm still walking and nothing is broken. There was talk that I would not be on the team this year because of last years concussions, but I believe God has had his hand on me this year, entering week 8 and no concussions. I have gotten hit several times, but God is watching over and caring for His child. We have 2 maybe 3 games left in my senior year, I may not ever be able to play the game of football in this way for the rest of my life. God hs provided me with athletic ability to play and i thanks Him for it, but there is an end to everyhting, whether this is it or not I don't know it is something only God knows. I am His I am in His hands! Friday Night football is a great feeling, and igf you have never expierenved it, do it!!

Weekends/Fall

This weekend was alot of fun! i spent alot of time with my family which was good, my sister cam e home for fall break, and it is always good to see her because we are so close. I got to see my grandma and grandpa who i haven't seen in a couple of weeks as well, so it was good to see them as well. Church was really good Sunday morning, i really enjoyed the service, it was one of those sermons that i felt like God sent that to the pastor just for me. I got to go to the guys soccer game with a bunch of friends, then to applebees then to clints house, it was alot of fun and a well needed social time! I also got to watch alot of football which is always good. This time is the best time of year, with the football, the weather is just right, it's the season when you just want to take a girl out and get a coffee and go for a walk, it is the perfect time of year! The down part of the weekend was that the bengals lost their first game, but hopefully they will learn from that and use it against tenessee this week.
In cisco this week, we had a guest speaker come in because Rev. K wasn't there. John Teller came in who is a good friend of some of the teachers at school, and he talked about all the different kind of wires and hwo to hook them up and the different kinds of "toys" you need to tell if the wire is working and what not. It was really interesting and alot of fun to learn about what he did for the different companys around the greater cincinnati area. We started to work on a slide show presentation to talk about cabling, we are getting pretty far, but not quite completed with the project, we should finish it up for the most part tomorrow in class. Supposedly we got x-boxes for the class to work with as well for a project that were supposed to be doing, but i don't know exactly what it is yet, but i am excited to learn about it.
The mission trip is coming up very soon, i am very very excited abou it! I have for one reason or anohter wanted to get closer and closer to God these past couple of weeks, and i belive He is going to do great things through me, what they are, i don't know or may never know, but i believe He is using me for Him and to show His love in one way or anohter. The book we are reading for the trip is amazing, I literally can not put it down, and this is coming from someone who reads the Bible, the sports page and ESPN the magazine and thats it! it really is a good book and i can't wait to see what God is going to do on this trip, continue to pray for the trip!
The yankees are on the verge of defeat, it's a sad time for a yankees fan, they are down right now 5-2 in game 5, the elimination game, all we can do is hope and pray!!

The Feeling of Hopelessness

What do you do when there is nothing you can do? Sure, the easy answer is pray, turn to God and ask him for hope and satisfaction, but what do you do when there is no answer right a way when your in the time of need? What can you do when you are down and discouraged, and everyone is rubbing it in making you feel 10 times worse than you already are? We all make mistakes, we have to live with our choices, some are good some are bad, but it's in the past you chose to do it, stay with it and live with the consenquences. Some don't see it this way, some choose to make bigger deals about things then they really are and blow alot of things out of proportion, but that's life, it's supposed to be complicated and rough... right?? Sometimes you feel like your the only one who has any respect and love for yourself. But is that really ever the case, i mean people say they don't but deep down they still do, but there are definitly times when there is a whole lot of doubt. Some things you just have to take as learning expierences, but how do you learn from some of the hardest things that have ever happened to you? Is it hard, yes, but will it build character and show who you really are, in my opinion yes! No one is perfect, but some people expect you to be perfect when it is impossible. Who is there to turn to when there is no one?

Cisco class is hard! I'm going to be up front and honest about it, it is hard!! Much harder than i had imagined, but the good thing is, it is also hard to fail, because there are so many other things you can do to keep the grade up, so that is definitly a good thing!! We went over the modeule 2 exam in class, but i didn't get to see any of the review because i had to get my thumb x-rayed, and then i had to go practice for homecoming court, so i didn't get to see much of the review. But hey there is only so much that you can do. The stuff is getting harder and more interesting at the same time. Even though it is getting very hard it is getting alot more interesting and i am learning more and more about things i didn't even know exsisted. I am thankful we got this class and am thankful i am in it because in my opinion some of the things we are learning people need to know, and it is very useful information. Although I am struggling in a way, i am choosing to stay with it and have a positive attitude towards it and keep going!!
YANKEES MADE THE PLAYOFFS!!! that is really all i need to say!!! Bengals are 4-0 for the first time since 1988, hmm last time i checked i believe they made the super bowl that year, hmmm idk.

Cisco clas is... Cisco class. This week we didn't really have that much time in class, but we still had some time. We got test results back from our modeule 2 test, and well... they were not as high as i think Rev. K would have liked them to be, but he said that we are going to go over them and see what we did wrong and what we do and don't understand, so that will be very helpful. We started the movie Sneakers Friday in there, but I didn't get too see much of it because I was getting my asvab results back, so I am a little confused in the whole movie, but I'm sure I will get caught up sooner or later. Hopefully it will get easier from here, but i think ti will get harder and more confusing, but hey I am willing and excited to learn more and more about it. I was talkignt o my uncle the other day about the Cisco class and he had heard about it and is very interested in it and is very jealous that I am taking it, so I told him that I'll get together with him and look at some stuff with him he was very excited, so that makes me feel pretty good because i alwys know he is there but am not the closest with him, so it really is amazing how God can work in different ways to connect you to different people, so I am very excited about that!
Yankees Yankees Yankees... they are scarin me a little bit, but they have a 3 game series with Boston coming up and the winner of the series goes to the playoffs and the loser doesnt, that's basically what it is going to boil down to, unless cleveland just drops for some reason. But i have faith that they will get in! Bengals are making me smile this year finally a good pro sports team in the city of cincinnati, but the falcons are still rollin and are playin strong!
I was pleasantly surprised by some of the comments that were left in my last blog...Mr. Marshall is jealous because he knows how good the yankees really are and is just trying to mess with me, but katie left me a comment and that made me smile!! it was really good to hear from her and hopefully dave and I can go up soon to pay her a visit.

Cisco Cisco Cisco, Where do I start? This week we worked on Modeule #2 which was ALOT of information, and alot to take in. We learned about Networking Terminology, Bandwidth, and Networking Models, it was all very interesting and somethign that I have never seen before, but at the sa,e time it was all very confusing! We also learned about LAN, WAN, MAN and SAN. (Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Metropolitian Area Network, and Storage Area Network.) It amazes me how these 4 things work and how the Networking works s a whole. Honestly I really didn't want to take this class at the beginnign of the year because I don't know anyting about computers, but the more we get into it and the more were learning the better it is, I really like it now. I might not be the best on the computer and know all the information but I am willing to learn the stuff and try as hard as I can to learn it. We also learned the differences between intranets and extranets. I really didn't know there was a difference but i guess there is. In all, the class is fun, but is most definitly getting harder and more confusing, but I like it a lot. Falcons lost today...but theres next week, Yankees looking better every day and ARE going to make the play offs!!!

Recovery

Early Saturday morning i lay in bed toss and turn look at the clock in pain, as i feel aches and pains all over from the game the night before. I wake up several times to cramps, bruises, and sometimes blood. As i lay there i think to myself why? Why am i going through this pain and suffering, what is this for, I don't get paid for this, I don't have to play, why am I doing this? Then a gentle whisper comes from nowhere because it's God's will. God blessed me with ability to play this great game of football, and it is for His will that I am playing. I don't know why, but He does! It makes me a stronger person for it, and knowing every play i run from the line of scrimmage God is with me and I am out there for His will and His will only, I am carried every step of the way by Him. He blesses me with protecting angels around me, even on the plays where i go down for a couple minutes, He helps me right back up and says hang in there kid I got ya I got ya! So no matter how frusterated you get with things in life and you don't know why your doing them remember that everyhting is for a reason, God does not make accidents, He put you in that situation for a reason whether it's to show His love through you or to make you a better person throught hat hard time, It is no accident it's for a reason, a specific reason God has for you.
Cisco class is going extremeley well! We just took our modeule 1 exam over hexadecimals and binary numbers and such. I really am learning alot and I am really enjoying it, somethings i may not be very good at or know very much about but I am taking it one step at a time and doing the best I can. I am glad I got accepted into the class and I am very excited to learn more about what is going to take place not only this semester, but also next semester in Cisco 2. Were starting the new stuff for modeule 2 on monday, so that should be new and fun interesting stuff, so I'm really looking forward to that. I think for Rev. K to be a first year teacher and coming into new routines and different changes he is doing a really good job and he makes the class fun and enjoyable, but most of all puts the learning on your level as an individual so that it's not way over your head, which is very good. But, the class is fun and id going well.
It's football season now!!! Falcons Monday night football baby!!... but don't forget about the yankees 4 back in al east, game half back in wild card

Devastating!!!

Wow, what is there to say, sitting back thinking about the devastation going on in the southern United States right now, what is there to say? Words can't describe the feelings of what the people are going through down there. The looting is unbelievable, I don't understand how you would want to be so greedy when they're are people that need the things they are stealing, I can understand food and water to survive, but t.v's?? c'mon. I can't even imagine some of the pain that they are going through, part of me wants to go down there and do everyhting I can to help out, but the other part of me is asking how? The best help they can get down there right now is the power of God. Nothing happens on accident, God does everyhting for a reason, and no matter how hard this is to take in to some people God has a plan for this to work out for the better! Sitting here in my house I feel guilty to a point because i am am very fortunate to have it and to have a roof over my head, when thousands down south don't. I heard this lady on the news standing in the rubbage of where her house once stood, she said, "wow, this is really hard to take in knowing everything i have worked for and earned is gone, all my belongings and memories are gone! But the most important thing (standing with her husband) is I have my family, family is the most importans thing anyone can ask for and i am fortunate to have them still, I can't take belongings with me, but if they believe my family can go too!" That quote sunk in and I am still thinking about it, so remember to keep the victims and their families in your prayers! Yankees 3 games out of first in a.l. east but... 1st place in wild card!

God is Good

As I sit back and reflect on the past couple of days, I think to myself how big my God really is. I woke up this morning to anxiety, fear, awareness, and many other things. I woke up several times lastnight to the rain, thinking to myself wow we really needed this rain and God provided in the time of need. I also thought to myself we have our first football game tonight and it is raining how am I ever going to throw the ball, and how nervous I was to be a starting quarterback and all the pressure that comes with it. I layed in bed and prayed for a while and said, God calm my fears help me, Lord this might not seem like that big of a deal but it is to me, and almost immidiately i felt calmness. The Lord works in mysterious ways that only He knows. As I sit in 2nd block Cisco class I think to myself as I look at the rain falling on the other side of the window, how good is my God? That is an open ended question that no one can answer we will just have to fibd out for ourselves one day. We took the assesment test for the class, and well, God wasn't so good to me on that, but hey life is hard sometimes. As Mr. Marshall always says God is good, all the time: all the time, God is good. Thta might be a simple little saying, but if you sit and think about it, it is a deep saying and has endless possibilities to imagination. So as you think go through out your day, think about how good God really is to you and what he has done for you, yes times will get tough but if you look up, HE WILL BE THERE!! Yankees 2.5 games out of the al east.

This is the first entry for my new Cisco class I'm in this year. It really is a fun class and I am looking forward to learning more and more about it and am excited about getting into the new program. We didn't really get to do alot today since it was our first real day of class, so we just got the computers out and got a username for our program. Rev. K is an awesome teacher and i really think he knows what he's doing and I think he is just as excited about the class as the rest of us, so that is definitly a positive! Time for me to go and get some stuff done. yankees down right now 9-2 but comin back! peace

What's goin on everybody, I am just getting started on this blog, its all new for me, but I'm excited about it and I think it will work out very well! Rev. K is making us do this for this new cisco class we have, but I personally like it and think it's a prety good idea and an easy way to journal about what we learned in the class. I don't have much time to write any more now but I just wanted to get started and work everyhting out, so I'll see yall later! peace and go yankees!!
